My Coaching Method?

Successful Personal Training motivates you; enabling you to achieve the results you want within a specified time frame and then, most importantly, maintain them. I will support you through all apsects of your fitness development; tailoring sessions to your needs to help you achieve your goals.

  1. Starting point  We start by understanding your goals, fitness level, nutrition, past injury and exercise knowledge. This means we can create a safe and specific programme that matches your starting point.
  2. Change  Following the initial assessments, we make sure you’re prepared for the upcoming habit changes. We identify any obstacles that may hinder progress and develop the correct mindset to overcome these.
  3. Strategy  Finally, we create the strategy that will help you achieve your goals, involving exercise and nutrition. A strategy that will deliver results while being realistic – considering your individual needs and your lifestyle.
  4. Exercise plan  Bespoke exercise programme to help improve your body shape, strength and fitness. We’ll encourage you to work hard and make consistent progress but never push you beyond your limits.
  5. Nutrition advice – We’ll help you implement healthy nutritional habits to improve your energy and lose any unwanted weight.
  6. Habits  We’ll help you make realistic changes in your lifestyle. This involves guidance for managing stress, improving sleep and staying active while outside the the gym.
  7. Review We schedule weekly catch ups to look over the weeks progress and make sure we’re on the right track. We also look at measurements and stats.
  8. Improve Following the review, we’ll adapt & improve your programme to make sure you’re making progress. These strategy improvements are how we help you keep moving forwards towards your goals.

Where can i train?

Personal training sessions can take place at Core Fitness. The entry cost to these facilities are not included in the cost of the training session. Alternatively, if you would prefer, we can train outdoors or at your home. I am based in Ripon but would be willing to travel to Harrogate, Pateley Bridge and surrounding areas.

Packages

I have a number of different packages to choose from. Have a look and see which best fits your circumstances.

  • Bespoke Training plans – Following an initial consultation, Darren will create personalised training plans that are individual to your needs and circumstances. This is the start of your journey.
  • Nutrition – Nutrition advice and guidance will be given every step of the way and you will be able to keep track of, and take control of, your own progress using the app.
  • 360 Support – We offer 24/7 access to the app which enables a high level of communication and monitoring.
  • Goal Tracking – Clients Workout, Nutrition, body composition and progress.
